Gotham City Dining

Where the city comes in from the rain.

Tucked between the lantern-lit avenues of Gotham, Blackgate Supper Club serves smoked rib roast, coal-fired oysters, midnight espresso, and the kind of pie people remember on the elevated train ride home. No delivery, no curbside, no shortcuts. Just a table, a candle, and the skyline.

Our story

Blackgate Supper Club opened in the late 1990s inside a renovated brick townhouse near the old financial district. What started as a neighborhood dining room became a Gotham staple for late suppers, quiet anniversaries, and long conversations by candlelight.

The kitchen keeps the menu familiar but heavy with character: smoked meats, winter greens, handmade pasta, brick-oven bread, and desserts that arrive with a silver spoon and a little theater. Nothing flashy. Nothing rushed. Just the city, plated well.

Find us in Gotham

27 Bleak Street, Gotham, just off the avenue with the elevated tracks. Look for the brass lantern over the doorway and the frosted window with the crest in the glass.

Parking is limited, as it always is in Gotham, and the best arrivals usually happen on foot, by taxi, or after a long walk under the city lights.

Open late for detectives, night owls, theater crowds, and everyone else still out when the city goes quiet.
